Prentstaðar og -árs hefur væntanlega verið getið að bókarlokum. Bókin er talin prentuð á Breiðabólstað í Vesturhópi, og ýmsar heimildir nefna prentár 1562. Greinilegastur er vitnisburður Harboes er hann getur bókarinnar „welche er [ɔ: Ólafur biskup Hjaltason] hier im Lande zu Breedebolstad in Westerhoop bey … Jón Matthiasson … drucken lassen, die An. 1562. den 5. April … ans Licht getreten sind …“ Eitt eintak þekkt er í Konungsbókhlöðu í Kaupmannahöfn, en óheilt; titilsíða er ekki stafheil (fyllt hér eftir Bibliotheca Harboiana), og í eintakið vantar B
